The teaching plan of Unit5 Can you come to my party? Section B 3a-4 Deng Rong Good morning, everyone! It’s my great pleasure to be here sharing my teaching ideas. The content of my lesson is Unit5 Can you come to my party? Section B 3a-4 Book1, Grade 8 of Go for it. I’ll prepare to say this lesson from five parts. They’re Analysis of the Teaching Material and Students, Teaching Methods, Studying Methods, Teaching Procedures and Blackboard Design. Part One Analysis of the Teaching Material Students. There are five parts in it. They are Status and Function, Teaching Aims and Demands, Teaching Key and difficult Points, Analysis of the Students, and Teaching Aids. I. Status and Function 1. The functions of this unit are to make, accept and decline invitations and talk about obligations. The students should learn to talk about duty and obligation and know something about the western customs when they have their birthdays. The students should also master the usage of modal verbs “have to” and “can”. 2、Section B(3a-4)of this unit is a reading and writing lesson.. The e-mail message is very easy for students to understand, and it provides reading and writing practice using the target language. It is the revision and extending of Section A. It can be retold by the students, and even let the students recite. 3. Such a topic is related to our daily life. If Ss learn it well, it will be helpful to cultivate their learning interests of English. Then, I’ll say Teaching Aims and demands. According to the new standard curriculum and the syllabus, after studying the teaching material and analyzing the rule of children’s growing of mind, I think the Teaching Aims and Demands are the followings.
