AbstractThisthesisisfocusedontheconflictsofjurisdictionbetweenWTOmechanismandRTAsmechanism.Thehighincreaseofregionaltradeagreementspromotestheregionalandmultilateraltradeliberalizationononehand,andontheotherhand,itshocksthemultilateraltradingsystem.Thereexistlotsofconflictsbetweenthetwosystems,themostobviousoneisthejurisdictionconflictbetweentheregionaltradingsystemandthemultilateraltradingsystem.Insomecircumstance,aWTOmember,whileitisinthemeantimeamemberofoneregionaltradeagreement,violatestheobligationsunderRTAs,itbreachesitsWTOobligationsatthesametime.Consequently,boththeWTOandtheRTAhavejurisdictionoverthecertaindisputeinsuchsituation,whichleadstothefollowingproblemsthatdifferentpartiesmightseekreliefbeforedifferentdisputemechanismsatthesametime(whichiscalledparallelproceedings)ortheymightbringthesamelitigationtotheRTA/WTOwhiletheWTO/RTAdisputesettlementproceedingshadalreadybegan(thatis,repeatactions).Itisaconcreteembodimentofjurisdictionalconflictbetweenthetwotypesofdisputesettlementmechanism.Thus,thisarticlefocusesonhowtocoordinatethisveryconflict.Thearticleconsistsoffiveparts:PartIstartsfromtherelationshipofRTAsandWTOlawandlegalbasisofbothinstitutions.TheirlegalbasisincludesThe24thArticleoftheGATT1994oftheWTOLaw,OntheUnderstandingoftheInterpretationofArticle24thoftheGeneralAgreementonTariffsandTrade,theDifferentialandMoreFavorableTreatment,ReciprocityonDevelopingCountriesParticipateFullyintheDecision(AuthorizationClause)andthe5thArticleofGATS.The24thArticleoftheGATT1994isabasicarticlewhichprovidesrelationshipsofthem,itisalsoconstitutesbasicregulationsalongwithotherrelativearticles.Next，thispartwillanalyzelegalbasisofthedisputesettlementjurisdictioneachintheWTOlawsandintheRegionalTradeAgreements.Thelastofthispartcomestostudyfurtherrelationshipsbetweenprovisionsofthejurisdictionofthetwomechanisms,andconcludesthatthereisaconflictofjurisdictionbetweenthetwosystems.PartII,takingintoaccountoftheexistingcasespecifically,analysesitsembodimentsandlegalconsequencesofthec
