Dad – Just so you know I would feel better doing this stuff after I’ve had 3 or 4 drinks.Bill – I thought about that this morning. We probably should have done this last night but this will be easy. So I was on a train back the same day.Bill – So you enlisted in June or July “41”.Dad – Somewhere around that. Must have been earlier because I had almost 9 months in by December, so it was March or April.Bill – When you enlisted, where did you go first?Dad – I went to Ft.
