The Effective Integration of the Micro―lecture with the Traditional Teaching Method 　　【Abstract】With the development of modern information technology， information resources become more and more open， subject， fragmentation in the field of education. The micro-lecture， characterized by the movement of educational resources， the miniaturization of instructional design and the diversification of teaching methods， has appeared on this scene. This paper introduces the background and characteristics of the micro-lecture， and compares it with the traditional teaching method. The background of the micro-lecture 　　In 1993， LeRoy A. McGrew in University of Northern Iowa proposed 60-second course. In 2006， Salman Khan launched the Khan Academy and brought the course videos into American basic education. In 2007， two American Chemistry Teachers put forward the flipped classroom. Over the years， different theories have been put forward.
