OBJECTIVE:Tostudytheanatomictheoryofthedistallybasedcompoundflappedicledwithnutrientvesselsofthe cutaneousantebrachiaImedialisnerve-basilicvein. DESIGN:Singlesampleobservation SE1-FING:ResearchCenterforClinicalAnatomy,FuzhouGeneralHospitalofNanjingMilitaryAreaCommandof ChinesePLA. MATERIALS:TheexperimentwascarriedoutatthelaboratoryforResearchCenterforClinicaIAnatomy.Military InstituteofOrthopaedics.FuzhouGeneraIHospitalofNanjingMilitaryAreaCommandofChinesePLAfr0mMarchto August2003.AtotaIof30upperIimbsofadultcadaversDesedwithredIatexthrougharterieswereprovidedby ResearchCenterforClinicaIAnatomy,MilitaryInstituteofOrthopaedics.FuzhouGeneraIHospitalofNanjingMilitary AreaCommandofChinesePLA.Eachcadaverwasinjectedwithamixtureofredgelatintoshowthebranches, distdbutionsandanastomosisoftheIesservesselsonthestainedsmalIarteriesofthefingertips. METHODS:All30adultupperlimbsweredissectedandobservedunderthemicroscopebasedonthepivotpointof styloidprocessofulna:①Theorigins,branches,distributionandanastomosisofnutrientvesselsoftheinferior1/3 segmentofmedialantebrachialcutaneousnerve-basilicvein,andwhosebloodsupplyrelationshipwithulnarperiosteal vessels.②Thesuperficialanddeepcommunicatingbranchesofbasilicvein.
