定语从句基本用法口诀： 1、置于先行词之后； 2、句子成分不完整。 3、关系词连主从句； 4、代替先行作[从句的]成分。 5、是物就用that或which； 6、是人就用that或who[whom作宾语]； 7、地点[状语] where、时间[状语]是when(均指在定语从句中)。 8、介加关系做[时间或地点]状语[或介宾] 。 (3)倒装句 [例句]In the high plains area is Lake Titicaca, the high lake in the world, on which boats can travel. [说明]in the high plains area is Lake Titicaca实际上是一个倒装句，主语是Lake Titicaca, 介词短语in the high plains area作系动词is的表语 ①当表示地点的介词短语，如on a hill, in the valley, round the corner等位于句首，动词为be, come, go, lie, stand, walk等时，句子常用完全倒装，即将整个谓语部分放在主语前面。 Round the corner of the street is a flower shop. On a hill in front of them stood a great castle. ②将地点副词(here, there)；方位副词(out, in, up, down, away, in front of)；时间副词(now, then)置于句首，主语不是代词，且谓语为be, go, come等不及物动词时，句子要用完全倒装。 Here is the money I promised you. First, a man cried for help. Then followed a shot of gun. ③作表语的形容词、过去分词等较短，而主语相对较长，为了保持句子平衡而将表语前置构成完全倒装。 Gone are the days when we had nothing to eat. ④当主语是代词时,here, there, in等词虽放在句首,但句子不倒装。 5.
