日本见面礼仪英语作文 篇一:英语作文礼仪Good manners(2篇) I Know How You Feel China has been known as the Land of Courtesy since ancient times, and etiquette plays an important part in our lives. Everyone likes people who have good manners. A person with good manners is often considered to be more trustworthy and easygoing. However, do we really understand the meaning of politeness? What are the basic elements of good manners? In my opinion, sympathy, which means I know how you feel, is one. A person with good manners never laughs at those in trouble. On the contrary, he usually tries his best to offer them help and make them happy again. What’s more, he often cares more about others’ feelings. He will cover his mouth when he coughs and say “excuse me” when he wants to leave a dinner party. What would you do if you get on a bus and find that the only seat is the “courtesy seat”? You might take it and think “I will give it to those who need it as soon as they get on the bus”. But how do people feel when someone gives them a seat on a bus? Some of them may be happy and grateful, while others may feel embarrassed or even angry. They might think,“My hair gets gra y earlier, I’m not that old!” So it’s better for us to keep the “courtesy seat” unoccupied so that we can make sure those who really need it take it at ease. As we see from the case above, you should try to put yourself in others’ shoes, then you will take a new look on people around you. You will find yourself a better person to get along with and the world a better place to live. And this is what good manners mean to me.(296 words) Value Our Traditional Etiquette Since the ancient times, China has been a state of etiquette. We have always been taught to be polite since we were very young. When I was learning to speak, my parents taught me to greet others with expressions like “Hello!”, “Good morning!” and “Goodbye!” I just didn’t understand why I have to do so until I grow older. Gradually, I come to understan
