摘要 据估算，人类使用的信息中超过80%的数据具有空间特性。有效地开发和利用这些空间性的数据，可以优化配置资源，降低经济运行成本，并规划、监测、改善区域经济和经济环境。地理信息系统可以应用到社会经济数据的管理、分析、描绘，为解决复杂的区域经济问题提供地图表现、区域营销、空间决策支持、空间规划等服务。但从国内当前的应用实际来看，GIS 在经济领域的应用远远落后于在其它领域如城市规划与管理、电力与电信、土地管理、环境保护等。而随着市场经济体制的建立与完善，提高经济分析与经济决策的水平与效率必然要求更新的技术支持，GIS 则有望成为今后在这一领域重要的应用技术，进而形成面向专业应用的决策支持系统。已有专家指出，经济GIS将是GIS今后应用的热点方向之一。 GIS 技术作为一种交互式的、可视化的决策支持工具，在区域经济分析中发挥着重要的作用,特别是应用于地方、区域和全国各级水平的经济发展决策过程。本文基于AGIS 全局和局部空间自相关分析，在GIS软件和相关软件的支持下，在分析GIS 应用的优越性的基础上，对从数据管理与表达、GIS空间分析、GIS模型分析、空间决策支持系统四个层次进行探讨，最后分析今后发展应用关键问题。 关键字经济GIS Abstract It is estimated that more than 80% information used in daily life is about spatial characteristics. Effective exploiting and using these space data can optimize the allocation of resources, reduce the cost of economic operation, as well as plan, monitor and improve the regional economic structure and environment. GIS can be applied to social and economic data management, analysis, description, and provide services to settlement of complex regional economic problems on maps, regional marketing, spatial decision support, space planning and so on. But from the perspective of practical application, GIS application in the field of economy lags far behind in other areas，such as urban planning and management, land management, environmental protection, electric power and telecommunications, etc. However with the establishment and perfection of market economic system, improving the level of economic analysis and efficiency of economic decision，Constantly updated technical support is inevitably be required. GIS is expected to be the important applied technology in this field, and may become decision support system.
