摘要近代社会云谲波诡，社会运动此起彼伏。中国的新式大学诞生于斯，是为了应承国家从封建的社会制度走向新的社会制度。南京艺术学院就在此背景下创办并延续至今。其前身可追溯到1912年由刘海粟创办的上海美专。自此以后，学校经历了一个世纪的沧桑变迁，发展成为了一所综合性高等艺术学府。校门作为历史的“镜子”，学校的“脸面”，对一所学校来说有着重要的作用。同时，校门伴随着历史的变迁几经更迭，也成为了近现代社会文化的直接映射。基于这种思考，本文以中国近现代史为背景，以南京艺术学院校史为线索，以南京艺术学院校门为对象，对南艺校门百年变迁进行了研究。论文首先根据南京艺术学院校史，将校门变迁划分为初创时期、合并时期和发展时期。然后对每个时期的校门变迁从三方面展开论述：一是历史背景，二是学校概况与校门变迁，三是校门特征及成因分析。最后对百年校门的变迁、特征进行了总结，认为百年校门变迁中所蕴含的“不息的变动”的精神对当下校门设计有着重要的启示作用。关键词：南京艺术学院；校门；变迁；特征；成因IAbstract:Themodernsocietyhasundergonedramaticchangeswithpoliticalcampaignsrisingoneafteranother.China’snew-typeofuniversitieswereborninthisveryperiod,inordertocarryouttheevolutionofchina’ssocialsystemfromfeudalismtoanewsocialsystem.NanjingUniversityoftheArtswasestablishedunderthisbackground,followedbygrowththatcontinuestothisday.ThehistoryofNanjingArtsInstitutecanbetracedbacktotheyearof1912whenMr.LiuHaisusetupShanghaiChineseArtCollege.Afteracenturyofdevelopmentandconstruction,duringwhichtheschoolhasunderwenttrialsandtribulations,NanjingArtsInstitutehasnowbecomeacomprehensivehighereducationalinstitutionofarts.Asthe‘face’ofthisUniversityandreflectionofitshistory,theschoolgateundertakesanimportantrole.Meanwhile,afterchangesforseveraltimesastimegoes,ithasalsobecomeadirectmappingtothecultureofChina’smodernsociety.AccordingtothehistoryofNanjingArtsInstitute,thispaperwilllookintothechangeofschoolgatefromthreeperiods,thatis,startupperiod,combiningperiodanddevelopmentperiod.Foreachperiod,wewilldiscussfromthreeperspectives:firstisthehistoricalbackground,secondisthestatusoftheuniversityandchangeofitsgate,thirdarethecharacteristicsandoriginanalysis.Intheendwewillsummarizethechangeandfeaturesoftheschoolgateoverthecentury,gettheconclusionthat‘constantchanging’spiritcontainedinthegatechangeoverthepastcenturywillprovidegreatenlightenmenttothecurrentgatedesign.Keyword：NanjingArtsInstitute;schoolgate,changes,characteristics,originII引言第一节研究背景与问题的提出十九世纪末与二十世纪初，西方工业革命的发展将中国卷入了世界的变革之中。为了应对“欧风美雨”的侵袭，中国人被迫放弃了传统的书院式学校而创办了新式大学；二十世纪末与二十一世纪初，信息化的工业革命再一次席卷全球。与前次相
