ThedosimetriccomparisonofdifferenttreatmentplanningforpostoperativeradiaotherapyofparotidcancerAbstractsThedosimetriccomparisonofdifferenttreatmentplanningforpostoperativeradiaotherapyofparotidcancerAbstractsPurposeTocomparethehomogeneityandconformityofdosedistributioninthetarget,thetreatmentperiodofpatientsandthedosetotheorgansatriskamongconventionalradiationtherapy(CRT),threedimensionalconformalradiationtherapy(3D-CRT)andintensitymodulatedradiationtherapy(IMRT5fIMRT7f),andthentoevaluatetheclinicalvalueofIMRTforpostoperativeirradiationofparotidcancer.Multi-segmentradiotherapy(MSRT)andIMRT7fwerecomparedusingdose-volumehistogramdata.Theconformityindex(CI)andheterogeneityindex(HI)ofdosewereusedtoevaluatethedosecoverageofthetargetvolume.Dosesparingofbrainstem,spinalcordandthecontralateralparotidwasalsocompared.TocompareIMRT7fandMSRT,thetimingofplanningandradiationdeliverywasrecorded.MethodTenpatientswithparotidcancerpostoperativewereselected.Beforethetreatment,computedtomographyscanimageweretransferredtoanIMRTplanningsystem,Theclinicaltargetvolume(CTV)includingtheGTVandlymphnoderegionanditssurroundingtissues,Theplanningtargetvolume(PTV)wasgeneratedusinga5mmuniformexpansionoftheCTV,outlinethevariousorgansthreateningatthesametime.TheprescribeddosetothePTVwas60Gyin2.0Gydailyfractions.Allplanswereoptimizedtoassurethatmorethan95%ofPTVvolumereceivedtheprescribeddose.Todesigntheunilateralfieldwithmixtureof12MVphotonandelectronbeams(X+E)、thethree-dimensionalconformalradiationtherapy、5wildintensity-modulatedradiationtherapy(IMRT)、7wildintensity-modulatedradiationtherapy(IMRT)andmulti-segmentradiotherapy(MSRT)plansrespectivelyforeachpatient.Throughtheanalysisofthedosevolumehistogram(DVH)bysinglelesionsofthepatients,whichusingtwokindsofradiationmethods,comparedbetweenthetwogroupswereconformalradiotherapytargetareaconformaldegree,uniformindexarea,targetareaAbstractsThedosimetriccomparisonofdifferenttreatmentplanningforpostoperativeradiaotherapyofparotidcancerdoseandeachendangerorg
