AbstractIsodonplantsareimportantgenusoftheLabiataefamilyandareperennialherbs,shrubs,orsub-shrubs.Thegenusiscomposedofapproximately150speciesthatarewidelydistributedintropicalandsubtropicalregions.Ent-kauranediterpenoidsarethemainnaturalconstituentinthisgenusandareespeciallyabundantinfreshbranchesandleaves.Todate,over400ent-kauranediterpenoidshavebeenisolatedfromtheseplants.Suchabundantandvariedsecondarymetabolitesformedduringthelongevolutionaryprocessmayhavespecialmeaningtothesurvivalofspeciesthemselves.TheeffectsofLeukameninE、RabdosinBandEpinodosinonrootgrowthofArabidopsisthalianaseedlingswereevaluatedbyusingthemethodsofprimaryrootandlateralrootvitality,GUSstainingofDR5::uidAmarker,starchgraininroottip,additionofauxinandinterruptionofauxintransport.Inaddition,thecorrelationamongtherootgrowthandinitiationoflateralrootwiththelevelsofauxininArabidopsisthalianarootsofLeukameninEandRabdosinBwerestudiedinourresearch.Finally,wedeterminedthePINfamilygenesexpressiontreatedwithLeukameninE.Theresultsareshownasfollows:LeukameninEhavenoeffectonprimaryrootgrowthofArabidopsisthalianaatconcentrationof10μM,whileprimaryrootisinhibitedsignificantlywithhigherconcentrationofLeukameninE(20-80μM)andshowadose-dependentmanner.Thelengthandnumberoflateralrootwaspromotedsignificantlyat10μM,andthenumberofrootprimordiumwaspromotedsignificantlyat20μM,butitshigherlevelsat80μM,bycontrast,hadinhibitoryeffects.Additionally,allofthetestedconcentrations(5-80μM)promotedLateralrootprimordiadensitysignificantlyofArabidopsisthaliana.HistochemicalGUSstainingpatternsofDR5::uidAindicatedthatDR5expressionatroottipwasimprovedatlowerconcentrationsofLeukameninE(10μM,20μM)，andhigherlevelsat40-80μMwasnoeffectonit.Primaryrootwaspromotedsignificantlyat20μM,whileinhibitedsignificantlyathigherconcentrations(80-120μM)ofRabdosinB.Additionally,thelengthandnumberoflateralrootandLateralrootprimordiadensitywereallpromotedsignificantlyattestedconcentrat-ions(40-120μM).HistochemicalGUSstainingpatternsofDR5::uidAindicatedthatD
