ClassifiedIndex:C911U.D.C.:316DissertationfortheMasterDegreeinLawASTUDYONTHELEISUREOFRURALRESIDENTSINTHECONTEXTOFSOCIALCHANGE:THECASEOFTIESHANVILLAGEINNORTHEASTERNCHINACandidate：LuFeiSupervisor：Prof.LiuErAcademicDegreeAppliedfor：MasterofLawSpecialty：SociologyAffiliation：SchoolofHumanitiesandSocialScienceDateofDefence：July,2012Degree-Conferring-HarbinInstituteofTechnology摘要社会变迁能够促进农村居民在休闲领域的新发展，引起人们休闲生活方式的变化。目前，国内有限的农村休闲研究多运用量性研究方法，而鲜有关于农村居民休闲方式变迁的质性研究。本文则运用参与观察、深度访谈等质性研究方法，以期更深入地揭示农民休闲变化的过程及其中的机制。本文首先描述了近三十年来铁山社区经济发展、城市化、家电和现代传媒及通讯设备的推广，以及基督教的传播等跟休闲生活变化关系比较密切的几方面的社会变迁，并具体考察了这些变迁对农村居民休闲生活的影响及其中的机制。其次，论文从职业、家庭结构、性别、年龄四个维度描述了不同背景变项的农民的休闲生活状况，以揭示农村居民休闲的多样性，并分析导致其休闲生活方式产生差异的原因。最后，本文探讨了处于社会转型期的中国农村居民休闲参与的主要制约因素，包括：个人因素、人际因素与结构性因素，并跟西方相关的研究进行对比，发现中西社会在经济条件和历史文化背景方面存在的差异及其对休闲制约因素不同的影响，而后从中国农村的实际出发，提出农村居民休闲制约因素按其重要性应该是“结构性制约因素”——“个人性制约因素”——“人际制约因素”的顺序，而非如西方学者基于其对西方发达的城市社会的休闲的研究而提出的“个人性制约因素”——“人际制约因素”——“结构性制约因素”的顺序，从而得出不同的克服休闲制约因素的策略。关键词：农村居民；休闲；社会变迁；休闲制约因素AbstractSocialchangecanhelppromotenewdevelopmentsinleisureofruralresidents,leadingtochangesintheirleisurelifestyles.Currently,thelimitedamountofresearchonleisureinruralareasinChinaemploysmostlyquantitativemethods.Inthispaper,weusequalitativemethodssuchasparticipantobservationandin-depthinterviewtostudytheleisureofruralresidents,soasbettertorevealthechangesintheirleisureandthemechanismsinvolved.Thispaperfirstdescribestheeconomicdevelopment,urbanization,thepopularizationofdomesticelectricappliancesandmodernmediaandcommunicationdevices,aswellasthespreadofChristianity,aspectsofsocialchangethatarecloselyassociatedwithchangesintheleisurelifeofresidentsintheTieshanVillagecommunity,andtheninvestigatethemechanismsbywhichthesechangesaffectleisureinthiscommunity.Secondly,thispaperdescribesthedifferentpatternsofleisurelifeofTieshanresidentsofdifferentvocations,differentfamilystructures,differentgenders,anddifferentagegroups,andthenanalyzethecausesleadingtotheirdiverseleisurepatterns.Finally,thispaperexploresthemainconstraintsforleisure
