AbstractTheBookofSongsisthefirstpoetrycollectioninChinesehistory.Itnotonlyoccupiesapivotalpositionintheliterature,butalsohasaveryconsiderablevalueinmanyotherrespects.JustasKongzisaid:“ThebookofSongsandTheBookareallholdingetiquette.”Sowecansaythatthereareinextricablelinksbetweenpoetryandetiquettewhatisactuallyofaregulatoryfunctionoflegalnorms.Bearingtheetiquetteandmusic,thepoetryhadbeengivenawealthofpolitical,ethicalandmoralconnotations.Thepoetrygraduallypenetratedintoeverycornerofdailylifeinthestateandplayedanamazingroleatthattime.ByreadingThebookofsongs,thispapertriestoresearchtherelationshipbetweenlawandliteratureinthecontextofChineselegalculture.WhetheritisfromthelawinLiteraturepointofvieworfromthelawthoughliteratureperspective,TheBookofSongshasanexcellentreputationfortheclassicalassociationofLawandLiterature.Intheforewordandthefirstpart,itwilltellsomethingabout“lawandliterature”.Consistingofitsrisingasamovement,anditsfourkindsofassociationmodesnamely“lawinliterature”,”lawofliterature”,”lawthoughliterature”and“lawasliterature”.Inwhichthemoreimportantkindsare“lawinliterature”and“lawthoughliterature”.Thenextstepistoexpositthereasonwhythebookofsongsischosenastheexample.Inthesecondpart,thespiritoflawinTheBookofSongsisthecentraltopicofdiscussion.Afteralongperiodoftime,wecanstillfindtheshadowandimplicationoflawsatthattime,whichincludesMatrimonySystemandSocialCustoms,Crimeandpunishment,litigationandtrail,andthethoughtofreligiousauthorityonthelegalthought.ThethirdpartwilldiscussthatthesepoemsofTheBookofSongsareproducedundertheauspicesofthepublicauthorityandtherelationshipbetweenthepoetryandetiquette,music.whyTheBookofSongscanhaveanimportanteducationalinancientChina.justlike“lawthoughliterature”.Theendwhichisthemostimportantpartiscoming.Thestudiesabout“lawandliterature”unwittinglyopensthedoortounderstandtheChinesetraditionallaw.Inthispaper,itishopedthatthroughreadingTheBookofSongstodoanewattempt.ThefinalargumentofthispaperisnotonlystayintheEpicmutualcertificate,buttoriset
