AbstractInthebackgroundofcurrentrapidurbanization,mostcitiesarepromotingtheurbanexpansionimmoderatelyfordevelopmentregardlessofthecost,leadingtonewtownconstructioninfullswing.However,theresultwasunsatisfactory,forinstance,theconstructionactivitydamagedtheecologicalenvironment,towndevelopmentbecamepurerealestateprojects,thenewtownhaddifficultyinaccumulationofpopularityandetc.Thus,facingsuchsituation,itisnecessarytorationallyintrospecttheissueofthecurrentnewtownconstruction.Thispaperselectsthreepre-startprojects,includingHuashanEco-City(Wuhan),PhoenixTreeLakeNewTown(Ezhou),andZishanLakeNewTown(Xianning),oftwo-orientedsocietyconstructioninWuhancitycircleastheobject,forthereasonthatthesethreenewtownstypicallyrepresentingthoseinsuburbanandperipheryhaveprofoundlyaffectedonregiondevelopmentbyefficientconstructionwithdisparateconditionsonresourceandevolutionduringthepastfiveyears.Accordingtothestudy,itshowsthat:Huashanecologicalcityfromanecologicalpointofviewtostartdrivingbyintroducingindustry,takingadvantageofthesurroundingandtheirownresourcestoproducetheirownsustainedhematopoieticeffects,whichisconducivetotheevacuationofcentercitypopulationandindustrialtransfer.Incontrast,havingbeenwronglypositioned,insufficientguidelinesinlakeindustry,cross-administrativecooperationandotherreasons,leadtotheunsatisfactoryresult,juststayinginthetraditionalmodelofadministrativecenterdrivendevelopmentwhilehavingnofavorableconsequence,ofdevelopmentandimplementationofPhoenixTreeLakeNewTown.Inaddition,ZishanLakeNewTownreliesoninter-cityrailwaytoachievetheeffectsoncorporativedevelopment.Theresidentialprojectattainedgoodresultsintheearlyperiod,suchasattractingalargenumberofpopulationtransferinWuhan,andevengeneratingtourismattractionforthepopulationinGuangzhouandShenzhen.However,theriskstillexists,forthatsimplyrelyingonthetrafficcanonlyformdormitorytownresultingfromthecity’slackofitsownhematopoieticfunction.Thusfuturesustainabledevelopmentneedstobetakenintoseriousconsideration.Throughtheverticalan
