StudyofMinimallyinvasivetreatmentofureteralcalculi：SystematicReviewandRandmizedControlTrialsAbstractBackgroundandObjective：Minimallyinvasivetreatmentofureteralstonesincludesextracorporealshockwavelithotripsy(ESWL)、ureteroscopiclithotripsy(URL)、percutaneousnephrolithotomylithotripsy(PCNL)、retroperitoneallaparoscopicureterolithotomy(RPLU),etc.Thesetreatmentsofureteralstonesindifferentlocationshavetheadvantagesanddisadvantagesrespectively.CochraneCollaborationandTheAmericanUrologicalAssociationKidneyStoneTreatmentGuidelines(AUA)systematicallyevaluatedthetreatmentofureteralcalculioneafteranother.CochraneCollaborationshowedthatURLhadthehigherstoneclearanceratethanESWLwithrelativelymorecomplicationsandlongerhospitalization.AUAalsoconsideredURLcouldgethigherstoneclearancerate，andhadmoreadvantageinthetreatmentoflowerureteralstones.Butforupperureteralstones,AUAdidnotgiveapreferentialtreatmentmethodclearly.Thus,howtochoosethetreatmentmethodforureteralstonesindifferentlocationsstillremainscontroversialbothathomeandabroad.Inthisstudy,weconductedtheevidence-basedmedicalresearchaboutminimallyinvasivetreatmentofureteralstonesindifferentlocations，andprovidedevidence-basedmedicineforthechoiceofureteralcalculitreatment.Meanwhile，wecomparedthesafetyandefficacyofflexibleureteroscopiclithotripsy(F-URS)withmini-percutaneousnephrolithotomy(MPCNL)forproximalureterstonesinaprospectiverandomizedmanner.Weaimedtoprovidefurtherevidenceforthetreatmentofupperureteralcalculi.MaterialsandMethods:Inordertoconductthesystematicreview,articlesweresearchedfromtheabstractdatabases,suchasMEDLINE,EMBASE,CochraneLibraryandCBMDisc,andfull-textdatabases,suchasPUBMED，CNKIandCQVIP，etal.Inaddition,wetrackeddownthereferencelistsofpapersrelatedtothisreview．TimelimitedfromJanuary1995toDecember2012.Alltheincludedstudieswererandomizedcontrolledtrialswhichcompared2differentwaysoftreatmentofureteralcalculi.Indexesabouttheinitialandoverallstoneclearancerate,repeattreatment,meanoperatingtime,postoperativecomplications,ho
