Abs Abstract PAGE PAGE III Abstract As China is a country with extensive resources， resource-based enterprises occupy an important place in the national economy. Resource-based enterprises of our country which are in the process of constructing and developing， especially large state-owned resource-based enterprises， are the major supply bases of Chinas energy and raw materials， have made a great contribution to Chinas modernization. With the development of the society and economy， environmental issues and resource issues become increasingly evident， and the sustainable development of resources and environment has become a focal issue of common concern. In this case， the resource-based enterprises’ development mode of burning forests for hunting has been unable to meet the requirements of sustainable development of the socio-economic environment； if businesses cannot be timely restructured， they will inevitably face the risk of obsolescence. Therefore， this paper explores problems of development mode of resource-based enterprises’ transformation to obtain the sustainable development of enterprises and society， and to solve the problems of exhausted mine and failing enterprises among resource-based enterprises， at the same time to realize optimization and upgrading of Chinas industrial structure. And the topic of development mode of resource-based enterprises’ transformation will get extensive attention from the community.
