These changes include cell proliferation and differentiation, morphogenesis and pattern formation, which are under the control of intrinsic developmental cues and influenced by environmental effects. Development and Regeneration Biology provides an introduction to principles of developmental biology across a wide range of organisms. By learning this course, students will understand the basic process and key events of animal and plant development, and how they are regulated by internal and external developmental cues. Furthermore, students will learn how developmental abnormalities impact human health and the application prospect of the arising regeneration biology in medicine.
