The modal adverb as a small class of adverbs, indicates modal and the way of action, and often indicates the speaker’s subjective attitude and ideas. The initial investigations revealed that the longer the time to learn Chinese, the more difficult to grasp modal adverbs. In the process of teaching second language, teaching material is the most important tool and basis for the teachers and learners.
