Lin Baogang ABSTRACT Urban Park is a public space that is provided by urban government for residents and visitors to communicate，it not on1y improves peoples life environment ，but also shows urban imagination. In urban park th巳 important function landscape essential factor - Urban Fumiture is one of lan也cape forms load-carrying peoples outdoor movement ，which is the important link between the person and the environment ，it also is the important ∞mposition which builds the park landscape atmosphere，it is the city image carrier and the medium of urban cu1ture spread. However，the research and design of urban furniture has many insufficiency at present: First，the Urban Fumiture of Urban Park involves many kinds of theories，for example the urban planni吨， the landscape design， the product design and so on，the correlation elaboration limits to respective specialty，s位esses to own theory，lacks the overall stratification and the d臼p level research. Second，researchers often pay more attention to urban furniture of urban str， t，∞mmunity，business district environment， but the research of urban furniture of urban park is insufficient. Third，many cities still have not pay more attention to Urban Fumiture ofUrban Park，the design ideas are obsolete，design level is stilllow. This article take the urban furniture of urban park as the research object，take the urban furniture desígn theory background (social background ，human nature design， region design，city image) as the foundation，analysis the theoηof city park and its 也n让阳re，the design influence factor，the basic principle，the design goal，and take the Xigu park 出 the example，unified the theory and the practice ，launched a series of investigation and study and the analysis，proposed in view of the Urban
