Commercial bank is an important component of the financial sector and the efficiency is the concentrated reflection of bank competitiveness. The efficiency not only shows the operating performance of the Banks themselves, but also reflects the immanent quality of a countrys financial development. So the efficiency is directly related to the resource allocation of whole countrys social economic system, and affects the entire social economic development. After Chinas accession to the WTO, the competition between the Chinese banks is increasingly fierce, and the competition will be increasingly focused on the comprehensive efficiency of the bank. Facing to such financial environment, Chinese bank maintains the sustainable development only by constantly improve the competitiveness of the banks. Chinese commercial banks maintain a strong competitiveness to adapt to such competitive financial environment only by constantly improving the efficiency of banks because the bank competitiveness focuses to the bank efficiency. This article first has carried on the extensive literature search, and compared the current commercial bank efficiency theory and empirical research method, so the efficiency of the commercial bank study in nowadays still has a very important theoretical significance and practical significance. This paper introduces the research background in part 1 and part 2. This paper introduces the research methods in part 3. This paper carries on the empirical analysis in part 4. This summaries and recommendations of this paper are in part 5. The bank efficiency as a important measure of input and output standard, the study of commercial bank efficiency is always the research hot spot problems. Considering the commercial bank business activities exist in the desirable outpu
