As an important part of the construction of open space, Urban furniture planning directly reflects the urban characteristics. How to set up urban furniture scientifically, standardized and characteristically for the orderly and unique urban public space, and more convenient and comfortable urban living environment, is the writing purpose of this article. Based on the analysis of the chaotic situation of China’s urban public environment facilities, caused by the lack of national laws and regulations, no unified local standards and multi-Sectors responsible, we summarize 118 small categories of public environment facilities list, and then select 5 major categories (53 samples) of urban furniture from them tailoring for the disadvantaged group in public space, including pedestrians, cyclists and disabled people.
