深层学习法在大学英语精读课词汇教学中研究
【摘要】词汇量的扩大是语言学习者的困难,也是第二语言习得的一个大问题,。本文作者提出了大学英语精读课中词汇的深层学习。就64位云南农业大学非英语专业的学生进行研究, 结果表明实验班在不同的活动的表现均超过对比班。 学习词汇采用深层学习方法能帮助学生认识词汇学习的重要意义的和更好的掌握的词汇,提高学生的阅读能力。研究能让教师更好地理解大学英语词汇教学, 同时提供一个大学英语课堂词汇教学的实际应用。

Deep Learning in College English Intensive Reading teaching of vocabulary
【Abstract】Enlarging the range of vocabulary is difficult for language learners. It is a significant problem in second language acquisition. The authors of this paper advocate a deep approach to learning vocabulary in a College English Intensive Reading Course. The study involves sixty-four,non-English major students from the Yunnan Agricultural University. The results show that the control class outperforms the contrast class in various activities. Learning vocabulary by adopting a deep approach can help the students become aware of the importance of vocabulary building and help them to learn new words and thus improves students reading ability. The research gives teachers a better understanding of vocabulary teaching and has practical implications in teaching vocabulary in the college English classroom.

1.1 Research Issue
Phonetics, grammar and vocabulary are three main elements that constitute a language. Among them, vocabulary provides the basic building material of the language. Wilkins (1982) said without grammar, little can be conveyed; without vocabulary, nothing can be conveyed .His statement emphasizes the fact that vocabulary is a basic part of language learning and of great importance to language learners. In the context of college English teaching in China, although a significant amount of time and energy is spent on teaching and learning vocabulary, the situation is far from being satisfactory.
