The researches on the mechanism of menopathy with cold syndrome are mainly focused on pelvic microcirculation， energy metabolism and immune function at present. Glucose metabolism is the core component of energy metabolism. It has been confirmed that the cold stimulation can cause abnormal glucose metabolism. PI3K-Akt pathway is the main insulin signal pathway involved in glucose metabolism of path physiological mechanisms. This paper summarizes the biological mechanism of menopathy with cold syndrome， analyzes the role of glucose metabolism and PI3K-Akt pathway in them， so as to provide new ideas for future research. 　　[Key words] Menopathy； Cold syndrome； Glucose metabolism； PI3K-Akt 　　寒证是指感受寒邪或阳虚阴盛，机体的功能活动衰减所形成的病证，而月经病寒证是临床较为多见的病证之一。既往流调学显示：育龄女性36.63%属月经病寒证[1]。“妇人以血为本”，女性的“经、孕、产、乳”生理特点均以血为物质基础。寒属阴邪，性主收引、凝滞，易与血搏结，致冲任瘀阻为患；寒客冲任、胞宫，致经脉拘挛，血行瘀滞，“不通则痛”，则发痛经；或冲任、胞脉被阻，胞宫不能按时满盈，致月经后期、闭经、不孕等病[2]。早在《妇人大全良方》记载：“风冷伤经血，血性得温则
