IV granary, kitchen range, well and so on were found in toms of Han Dynasty. Lacquered wood-ware was only unearthed in those tombs with outer wooden coffin. The quantity, types and manufacture technology in lacquered wood-ware were found to have relationship with the funerary scale and social estate of the dead. The same phenomenon was found so as to jade funerary equipment. In terms of burial bronzes, bronze mirror and belt hook were most popular. The majority of the iron-ware was tools and weapon in the early and middle period of Western Han Dynasty was seldom found in tombs at the same time. By contrast, worldly living iron remains increased and iron-ware decreased in the middle and late period of Eastern Han Dynasty. Few stone funerary remains were unearthed, which were popular after the Wendi reign or the Jingdi reign. Based on the above-mentioned research, this thesis studied the following three topics. Firstly, all of Han dynasty tombs in Anhui Province could be divided into two major districts with the dividing line—Huaihe River: one is the northern part of Anhui Province, and the other is the southern part to the Huaihe River in the light of the tombs form, burial equipment and the combination of funerary remains. Although the basic range of each district remained stable, there were a few changes happened with the boundary of each region. Obvious regional burial characteristic could be observed on the development of toms in the Western Han period, which became more and more similar in the Eastern Han Dynasty. With regard to essential rules of the development of graves, these two districts showed no differences. For instance, the form of tombs were built more and more like the worldly house and the burial equipment became living vessel model gradually.
