Several test methods have been added and some references to test methods have been changed in tables 1 and 2. Section 3.3 Environmental requirements has been updated. Fire resistance requirements have been added to section 3.1. Some other minor updates have also been made. This standard replaces STD 5751,55 for new design within the Volvo Group. It also replaces technical specifications TSCA 001 and TSCA 009 within Volvo 3P. For painting of metal substrates, see STD 121-0001 Painting Y 600. The standard covers requirements for painted parts for interior and exterior use, respectively. The standard also covers requirements for primed parts. 2 Painting classes - Y 650-1 shall be indicated as painting class for components of plastic mainly for interior use. - Y 650-2 shall be indicated as painting class for primed components of plastic which will be top coated later.
