西北工业大学 MBA 论文 Abstract The paper aìms at researching and discussing devc10pment and strategy problem of Orient Tantalum Industry Co.，Ltd. Tantalum is a rare metal with good physicaI and chemical prope此ies. Tantalum products 衍e extensively applied to electronics ，n1etallurgical ，cenlent carbide，aerospace，aviation，superconductor and medical industry. In recent years OTIC develops very fast and has beCOlne the main tantalum industry enterprise in the world. With integration of world econon1y and rapid developlnent of Chinese economy，competitíon between enterprises becomes severe and Chinese enterprises engaged in tantalum ìndustry 缸e already concemed and guarded by the s缸ne trade from domestic and abroad. Core content of this paper is industry analysis for enterprises engaged jn tantalum industry. According to the analysìs for market stan后， five basic strength driving industrial competition and world tantalum resource ，ente叩rìse s position in the industry is analyzed from industrial sight. On the basis of industry analysís， conlpanys s盯ategy cho?ce，namely low-cost-Ieading strategy，is pointed out for Chinese tanta1um industrial enterprises by combining SWOT analysis for OTIC and core competition streng吐1 analysis. Based on executing strategy，this paper brings forward basic conceiving of establishing the OTIC-leading Chinese tantalum industrial enterprise combo which is one important nleaSUre fo1 collocating tantalum resource in reason ，reducing inner \vaste，improving whole competence and executing low-cost-leading strategy. Additional1y expediting technology im1ovation，strengthening management and developlnent of manpower resource and trying for support 企om state industry policy are also important assurance of executing low-cost-leading strategy for domestic tantalum industrial enterpnses.
