Today, when the team management pattern already widely proved can overcome the adverse effects of individual knowledge blind and limited rationality of decision, strategic management in higher education institutions should also be reference team behavioral integration to realize current “The President Accountability System leaded by Party Committee” into practical team forms of leadership. For the idea, this dissertation combines theoretical and empirical analysis method to develop study on the specific dimensions of Higher Education Institutions leadership team behavioral Integration, the cognitive factors and characteristic variables for Behavioral Integration After reviewing existing literature, this empirical research advances a research model and proposes relevant hypotheses. Taking Party Committee Secretary and President in Higher Education Institutions for the main investigation objects, other members in the leadership team (such as deputy president, deputy party secretary, vice-president and so on) for auxiliary objects, this research has collected 408 effective questionnaire from 101 Higher Education Institutions (effective returns-ratio is 51%). Data analysis mentality as well as main findings and related contributions are summaried as follows. Combining theory and data analysis, behavioral integration is defined as a meta-construct of two dimensions—cooperation atmosphere and Interaction on decisin-making.
