R. China) Abstract:摇 The heritage of Ming鄄style furniture in modern is in crisis, one reason is because of its expensive price and the complexity of production process,another reason isthat itshandicraft production techniquesfailed to be undertaken to the modern mode. The essence of Ming鄄style furniture is on its mortise鄄tenon structure with modularization. The family table function of CREO software can be used to build part library based on its modular features,meeting thefeature of mortise鄄tenon partswith the same structure but in different size. In order to satisfy the modern production of Ming鄄stylefurniture,a system comprehending the parametric characteristicsof mortise鄄tenon structure and referencefeature modeling as a whole is created,the bottom鄄up modeling method isusedfor the integration of part library,andfinally it is proved through the establishment of Longfeng tenon part library.
