During the training of talents, physical education teachers in university and their occupational attitude play an important roll. Besides their professional knowledge, teacher’s occupational attitude is also of prime importance. In colleges and universities in Shanxi Province, volleyball is one of the most popular optional courses among all forms of physical education. Therefore, carrying out a systematic research into the occupational attitude of volleyball teachers and then laying down related policies and measures are tremendously significant.This study researches on the current station, differentiation and influence factors of occupational attitude of volleyball teacher in colleges and universities in Shanxi Province. Research method: documentary analysis, specialist interviews, mathematic statistics, analytics and questionnaire. Conclusion Most volleyball teachers in colleges and universities in Shanxi Province have dense interest in their occupation. They adopt a positive attitude upon the significance of volleyball teaching and teachers while negative on income, status of respect, personal achievement and promotion. They agree on the toil of work. Differences exist among teachers of different gender, age, education background and academic ranks. Income and spirit of devotion are two most important factors that affect teachers’ occupational attitude. And then come to the role of volleyball teaching.
