The closed solutions of govern ing d ifferential equations are derived by the elmi ination m ethod. And the starting pa rameter equations of calcu lating deformation and internal force for the curved girders are derived. Based on the static equ i librium and consecutive condition from the transboundary of themu lti span curved beam bridge, the interspacesspan ma trix and the node m atrix are proposed. The transfer matrix m ethod in calcu lating the shear lag effect in continuous curved box girders is put forw ard. Case study show s that them ethod is effective.
