The Research on Question Ef fectively in the Biology Classroom of High School under the Vision of Dialogue
Abstract
Question is one of the effective ways in the actual classroom teaching of secondary schools at present. Question is a basic way of exchange, communication and dialogue between teachers and students. Students’subjectivity is stressed in the New Curriculum Reform. How to reflect it is particularly important in the classroom questions. Question plays a crucial role in the effectiveness of the classroom teaching, it also reflects the students’ subjectivity in the classroom teaching. Classroom question is not only a technical issue, but also involves educational concepts.
Inquiry Learning is advocated in the biology curriculum standards of high school. It seeks to promote changing students’ learning styles, train the students’ capacity of gaining new knowledge, the ability of critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability of exchange and cooperation. Effective question in the classroom can help teachers to know whether students have mastered the assigned tasks. It can enhance the ability of students’ critical thinking, enables students to think actively and encourages students to take part in the learning process on their own initiative. Optimize question in the biology classroom teaching of high school, establish and develop the main body of students, let the biology classroom teaching play an important role in growing the students’ knowledge, improve students’ science literacy, develop the critical thinking and promote interpersonal communication. It is not only necessary for improving the current biology classroom teaching, but also promoting the sustainable development of students.
