Every breed pattern has a long national history. Congjiang is located in the southern part of Dongs living area, water and land transportation are inconvenience, production level is very low, and barely communicate with the outside world. This geographic environment keeps Congjiang Dongs embroidery very original. Through on-the-spot inspection of the region culture in Congjiang town, southeast of Guizhou province, this thesis analyzes how geographical condition and customs in Congjiang influence the origin and development of Dong nationality embroidery, explores the current situation of Dong nationality embroidery in Congjiang by consulting local relevant materials, and introduces some concrete culture and craft of Dong nationality embroidery, the feature and current situation of Dong nationality embroidery, the feature and current situation of Dong nationality embroidery craft in Congjiang by interviewing some craftsmen of Dong nationality embroidery ,paying a visit to the local villagers, the head of 从江侗族刺绣纹样研究the culture station.
