Methods： Immunohistochemistry (SP method ) was used to detect the expression of beta;-catenin , CyclinDl and cdk4 in 52 case of colorectal carcinomas. Results： The posotive rate of the abnormal expression ofbeta;-catenin ,CyclinDl and cdk4 was higher in colorectal carcinomas than in normal tissues (Plt;0.05 ); but the membranous expression ofbeta;-catenin was lower. (Plt;0.05 ).The abnormal expression of beta;-catenin was correlated to lymph node metastasis ,Dukes garde , the depth of invasion and the tissue differentiation (Plt;0.05 ); The membranous expression was correlated to the tissue differentiation(Plt;0.05 ); CyclinDl was correlated to lymph node metastasis and the depth of invasion (Plt;0.05 ); cdk4 was correlated to the depth of invasion (Plt;O.O5 )? Conclusion: The overexpression of beta;-catenin, CyclinDl and cdk4 are related to the invasion and metastasis of colorectal carcinomas. They may be a valuable indictor for assessing prognosis and for selecting suitable therapy for patients .
