Studies show that the main active ingredients are tetrahydropalmatine and corydaline,but currently we have found more than 20 kinds of alkaloid in Corvdalis vanhusuo W.T.Wang,so researches for one or several chemical compositions have not explain the complete efficacy of Corvdalis vanhusuo W.T.Wang accurately,also can’t form the system of the standard quality evaluation. In order to formulate the quality standards, mony scientific researchers do mony experiments. In order to explore the methods of researching chemical compositions and quality standards of Corvdalis vanhusuo W.T.Wang， this paper reviews the progress on the studies about chemical compositions and quality standards of Corvdalis vanhusuo W.T.Wang on the basis of much literature,and summarizes methods of the studies.
