AbstractAbstract Abstract Abstract Flutter is a kind of self-excited Vi bration induced by wlnd act on str.uctures. 1 he maln feature of flutter is that exists a critical status—critical wind velocity and critical矗equency. When the wind velocity of coming now is below the critical wind Velocity,the Vibration reSponse of a stmcture will be decrease with the damping,to the opposite,me response would be amplified tiU the stmcture d锄aged. With the construction and planning of cross—sea tramcs,the long—span bridges haVe a much luminous印plication foreground.MoreoVer,its spaIls will be longer gradually.With the increasing spaJls,modem long—span and super long— spaJl bridge stmctures are li曲ter and more nexible.They haVe weaker stiH、ness aIld lower mn£lamental丘.equency,thus,they are prone to be d锄aged under the action of wind.So,wind resistant stability is the controlling f.actor that detemining the safety of long—span bridge stmctures.Among the four primary wind—induced Vibrations,Flutter takes more attentions of researchers for its catastrophic destroy efrects in short time.Flutter would be the key problem in long-span bridges design process due to the nexibility itself. This p印er mainly discusses and analyzes the two-dimension and three‘dimension fl嘶er theory for long-span bridges.Tb two—dimension flutter equation,a new method called Secant memod is obtained,and giVe a program,f幻m the comparatiVe analysis of two cases,we can conclude that it can get better results.Tb multi.mode nutter theo巧,with the par锄etric study of a suspension bridge V,hose span is 1l 3 8m,this paper get some Valuable conclusion aIld regularities.
