华 华 中 科 技 大 学 硕 士 学 位 论 文 II II Abstract Trenchless drill pipe is a very important component which connects the drill rig and bit. In the whole process of drilling, the trenchless pipe bears a variety of complex alternating stress and corrosion by all kinds of corrosive medium, and defects such as crack, piercing and wear are prone to occur. Thus, the trenchless pipe is the weakest link and often causes engineering accidents. Inspecting the drill pipe defect in time can enhance the reliability of drill pipe in service; reduce the cost of drilling engineering. Therefore, research and development of trenchless pipe inspection equipment has extensive application value. First, the immersed ultrasonic testing method is chosen to inspect the trenchless pipe after studying the structure of trenchless pipe, the production process, common types of defects and comparing the commonly used inspection method. Then, the inspection scheme for the complete set of equipment is drew up according to the proposed detection requirements, and the difficulties in the process of equipment design and manufacturing are analyzed. The inspection equipment design is completed by studying relative properties of water immersion ultrasonic detection method and the influence of probe types and arrangements. After that, other auxiliary structure such as rocker arm, circulation water tank, pressure mechanism, transfer mechanism and institution are optimized. Finally, the equipment on-site installation and debugging is completed, and the inspection results are tested. Field experiment results show that the design of the immersed ultrasonic testing equipment for trenchless pipe can detect the artificial defects which in accordance with the API Spec 5D standard, and fully meet the corresponding technical indicators.
