ABSTRACT
Because of advantages, such as simple configuration, light weight, low cost, reliable work, high loading capacity characteristic etc, turnout side plate deformation device of straddle flexible monorail has been widely used in monorail transit industry. Running condition of turnout side plate deformation device makes oriented plates and stable plates repeated transition, and cams bear alternating load, thus the fatigue life problem of system’s components should be pay attention. Therefore, the research on multi-body dynamic simulation and fatigue life analysis of turnout side plate deformation device have important theory significance and great engineering values on evaluated the work safety reliable of turnout device.
With the multi-body system dynamic theory, fatigue life analysis method and finite element method, a rigid-flexible coupling dynamic simulation analysis of turnout side plate deformation device have been carried out, and then the fatigue life of side plate and cams is analyzed. The main research work in this paper can be summarized as follows:
① The finite element models of flexible component of turnout side plate
deformation device are established with UG and ANSYS software. With the method of block Lanczos, the natural frequency and normal mode of flexible components are obtained, and the modal neutral files of them are produced through the interface program generator of ANSYS and ADAMS.
② Considering the thrust of electronic push rod and the centrifugal force
generated when train through, a rigid-flexible coupling dynamics model of turnout side plate deformation device is built in ADAMS combined with the flexible body modal neutral file, and the time histories of loads of various components, as well as the stress contours of side plates and cams are obtained through the dynamic simulation.
