合金钢阀体铸造工艺的优化和验证 合金钢阀体铸造工艺的优化和验证 Optimizing and Validating on Casting Process of Alloy Steel Valve Body ABSTRACT Alloy steel valve body was the main component in valve system, normally the shape of valve body was simple, after assembled with valve base and other components, the system had to work in special pressure environment. Since the requirement on pressure resistance, the valve body had high requirement on casting compactibility and soundness, leakaging test was needed to ensure no shrinkage and slag hole inside. The paper worked over the production of alloy steel valve body in a Casting Steel Company located in Tianjin, Using InteCAST numerical simulation software as a tool, mainly focused on casting leakage problem found in the pressure tightness test to alloy steel valve body in production, according to the simulation result, inner shrinkage defect which caused leakage problem was found near hot spot area. After theory analysis and numerical simulation to original foundry process, we defined several improved process, and then some simulation trial done to find the most optimized process. The optimized process tried in production, the trial result in the foundry was similar with numerical simulation result, no inner shrinkage defect found with ultrasonic test and destructive test, after that samples submitted to oversea customer for validation, the inner quality was qualified to customer requirements. Production result showed that: Production according to optimized process defined by the InteCAST numerical simulation software, the property of alloy steel valve body can totally meet the requirements of oversea customer, the development period had been greatly shortened, also the development cost greatly depressed. Besides, since the feeder size had been reduced greatly according to optimized process, the product ratio had been increased. So CAE technique can drive the designing of casting process from “experience design” to “technique design”. KEY WORDS: casti
