Automotive diesel engine facing day by day the strict regulation and reduce fuel consumption requirements, etc, the electronic control technology is the engine at the same time satisfy the requirements of effective means, and electronic control units is the core of the whole control system, the hardware and software design is reasonable control of the whole control system will be a decisive impact. The structure of the vehicle diesel engine is more complicated, especially the new electronic control technology, for the car driving and maintenance staff to have the very vital significance. This paper introduces the development of the technology of diesel engine electronic control condition, control principle and application characteristics and the high pressure common rail technology works, the research direction and application foreground.
