Its also a “delicious“ holiday. Family members get together and enjoy a big dinner. Turkey is the main dish (主菜). This is why Thanksgiving is also called Turkey Day. People put bread and stuffing (馅料) into the turkey. They roast (烘烤) it. They also eat mashed potatoes (土豆泥) and vegetable salad. Pumpkin pie is a dessert (甜品) at the end of the meal. Kids get the wishbone (许愿骨) from the turkey. The wishbone is in the turkeys chest (胸部). Two kids take each end of the bone, make a wish and pull to break the bone.
