INTEROpERAB王L玎Y INTEROpERAB王L玎Y RESEARCH A．ND IⅣ田LEⅣ旺NTATl0N FOR EpON SYSTEMS ABSTRACT In recent years，along with the development of communication technique．network transmission ability has been impmved a lot．Howev —e爻the main mode of copper cable’S communication Call not adapt to the current communication development．At the same time，with the develop ．ment of connect technology and the cheaper fiber．the fiber access net -work appears．It combines the advantages of PON and Ethemet。With its feature of high bandwidth，low cost，and being used and updated easily, EPON iS one of the best solutions to broadband access Network． In this thesis，the most important part is the interoperability analysis and research for EPON system。which iS divided into three layers：the inte -roperability of EPON basic function。the interoperability of service card —elfunction，and the interoperability of operation，administer，maintenance function．The thesis makes a further research based on the test of the inter ．operability for EPON system。and summarizes the questions in the test．It iS vital for the widely used of EPON system． This thesis is divided into six chapters：Chapter one gives the backgr ．ound of researches and meanings of the thesis．Chapter two provides the simple introduction of AN and the bandwidth access teehniques．Chapter three analyses the layers of EPON system．Multi．Point MAC Control Pro ．tocol and Multi．Point MAC Control system．Chapter four researches the key tecniques of EPON system，such as the process of distance measuring and Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation．Chapter five iS the most signi ficant part of the whole thesis．It gives a deep investigate in the interoperability 黏r EPON system，besides it discusses the problems in the interoperability for EPON system．Chapter six summarizes the whole thesis．and offers the advices for the further work． KEY WORDS：EPON，interoperability，AN，D8A，MPCP，VLAN， multi．cast 独创性(或创新性)声明本人声明所呈交的论文是本人在导师指导下进行的研究工作及取得的研究 独创性(或创新性)声明 本人声明所呈交的论文是本人在导师指导下进行的研究工
