Abs Abstract ShangHai Normal University Sha ShangHai Normal University Abstract 万方数据 万方数据 万方数据 万方数据 II Abstract Electric Power Steering System (EPS) is a complete car moving direction of the auxiliary power core device , it has been widely used in luxury cars and electric vehicles, and the control system is the core of EPS assist motor control, using a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM ) as a booster motor electric power steering system compared to traditional brushed DC motor assist system has superior torque and speed response and low torque ripple, etc. EPS system has become a hot research , but applied to the motor PMSM EPS high-performance control system rotor position information is essential , therefore commonly expensive position sensor element to obtain real-time location information of the rotor of the motor power, set position sensor assembly not only increases the size and cost of the EPS system, but also increase the failure rate of the whole system, so application in EPS system not only has important scientific value based on PMSM booster motor without position sensor also has a broad market prospect. This paper focuses to build low-cost sensorless PMSM motor control system and high-performance power EPS expand efforts to resolve the cancellation of the rotor position and speed of the position sensor EPS assist motor control system effectively estimate problems and to optimize the torque ripple control problem , the main research work are: First, in the full study of the car EPS system principle, discussed in detail the principle and the principle of coordinate transformation mathematics modern PMSM motor vector control, intelligent control EPS steering upper and EPS core control lower power motor control layers are studied and simulation and vector traditional PMSM motor control MTPA control strategy based on a combination of optimized control as a basis for the introduction of synovial control theory, application-specific PMSM motor in EPS s
