Why do we require shringking? * We have two types of hammer and dolly repair methods These are the ON and Off dolly methods - Push up the lower point / knock down the higher point. - Smooth the low and high points by pressing with a hammer and dolly. -Area accesable from the inside. * When using washer welding, -You have to pull the lower point by welding washers on the lowest point of the damaged area and knock down the higher point of the damage by a hammer. We also use washer welding when we are repairing a panel which is inaccessible from insided. * Shringking. The purpose of this method is to regain the panels rigidity. We have two reasons why the panel becomes streched and lost its rigidity. 1. it was streched by external force. 2. it was streched by over hammering when repairing. * Damage assessment mainly has 4 methods these are: By sight By touch BY straight edge Rigidity check Do you know any other method? If you have a damage like this where do you start checking the damage? Answer: Start with a walk around check and also check the undamaged area.
