ABSTRACT Office automation system can provide information technology means to resolve the Internal tedious routine transaction processing caused by personnel costs, office costs remain high and the low efficiency and other issues, to achieve the various positions on the staff of the cooperative exchanges, integrated units inside and outside various information systems and information resources to achieve universal efficient management of daily office workflow. In this paper, the unit demand for office automation system conducted in-depth understanding of the basis, first analyzes the current domestic and office automation system status and future development trends, elaborated J2EE technologies, MVC design pattern, Struts framework, JSP, etc. technical theory, combined with a database, network architecture, and other advanced technology, office automation system needs analysis and overall design. Secondly, the system design process, developed a systems overall architecture, software architecture, and the specific content of the functional modules and complete a database SQL Server 2005 database design and connectivity. System uses B/S three-tier architecture, the application of advanced technology development completed J2EE user rights management, document management, attendance management, conference management, system management and other functional modules, system testing was also carried out to ensure the safety of the system and stability. Development and application of this system to provide users with specific business-oriented office environment, has greatly improved the efficiency of work and management, truly paperless, no distance remote collaborative office the new concept.
