Warming up Show Ss some pictures and ask them What is/are he/ she/ they doing now? to review the knowledge of Unit 6 and lead out : They are doing exercising in the sunny weaher! 2. Presentation lead in (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss learn the new words (sunny/windy/cloudy/ rainy/snowy)and expressions with the help of the pictures. Ss learn the new sentences about how to ask the weather like : How’s the weather/ What’s the weather like? Guessing game Let Ss guess the pictures : A: How’s the weather ? B: Is it…? Then look at the sign ,and review the weather again Show the Ss a map of China and figner out 5 cities and the let Ss to make a conversation with their partners : How’s the weather in…? 3. Look at the pictures in 1a. Then read the new words on the right.
