Abstract Authentication is the first barrier of the network information system security field. It is a key field in the information age. The PKI is an increasing development trend of user authentication, it has promising and broad application in e-business, e-government, and many open network application environment in future. RSA is a open network environment technology, using public key cryptogram system theory has implemented and supplied a universal security infrastructure for security services, it has two main application, include encryption and digital signature. Along with the modern times automatization improvements, a great deal of no face-to-face electronic trades are increasing. An veracity, and security, and practicable automatic personal identification are even more highly demanded and required in our life. This thesis emphasized on identification and RSA technologies, discussed and analyzed all identity authentication technologiess along with development status and technology points, put forward an improved authenticatioon system, based on PKI system.and simplified it. In encryption aspect, this thesis emphasized to discuss popular encryption technologies, analysed RSA theory, optimized big integer calculation and brought forward a modified big prime generation method, improved the performance of RSA. Developed a suit of simple identity authentication system for encryption and authentication, it supply a base of research and development. In this thesis, it give a systemic analysis to the objective, key issues, and most difficult points of the research on RSA identity authentication technology. Designed a practical system in last, combined with RSA encryption, it supplied unique and stability technology advantages, presents a authentication system. These applications need to implement measures to solve traditional authentification exist security problem.
