Teaching Aids A tape recorder, a computer, a blackboard Teaching procedures Step1. Warm-up Greet the whole class. Show a picture(It’s raining.), Say: Look at this picture,what’s the girl doing?And how’s the weather?(Point outside) ... Yes. It’s raining . Let’s talk about the weather.---Unit 7. It’s raining! Step2.Review T:From the title“ It’s raining.”We can know it is the present progressive tense in Unit6. .Do you still remember it ?Let’s review it first. Show some pictures ,then ask and answer like this : --What’s he doing? --He is playing basketball. --What are they doing? --They are watching TV. ..... Step3.Presentation Show some weather signs. Then ask students “Do you know them? Please discuss and answer.” Show the weather words, and then teach them to read and spell these new words: rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow,weather.
