AbstractAbstract Abstract Abstract Clouds played important role in climate system and environment，it is very im。 portant member ofradiative budget ofthe Earth—Atmosphere System．Along with the aP— plication ofvarious advanced meteorological satellite platforms。in virtue ofcombined mea— surements based upon multichannel，multi．instrument observations，the cloud parameter be retrievated precisely．In this smdy。Based on CPR＆MODIS Measurements and SBDART model。an retrieval algorithm of cloud—top temperature(CTT)and cloud—top height(CTH)was created． HDF(Hierarchical Data Format) First，the feature and structure of HDF was analyzed，and the file structure and three models of HDF5 were deeply researched．The flow of extracting HDF data was built up． And two methods and the code which was used to dump the HDF data were provided． Retrieval algorithm of cloud-top temperature Based on SBDART model，the sensitivity ofParameter(cloud optical depth，cloud ge— ometry thickness，effective radius ofparticle)to 1 l#m channel radiation was analyzed in detail．By the result ofmodel simulation and the radiative transfer formula，the retrieval fo卜 mula ofCTT was created．Then with the result ofsimulation to the 1 l#m channel Bright— TemPerature(BT)，by using the method ofcurve fitting，an accurate algorithm ofCTT retrieval was created．And the algorithm was initially tested by model． Retrieval algorithm of cloud—top height By the data of Cloudsat，the authors analyzed two retrieval methods of cloud-top height(CTH)for CPR and surface echo clutter．the two retrieval methods were radar re’ flectivity method and cloud mask method．Then the distribution and global change with season ofheight，middle，and low cloud，which was classified by the threshold ofCTT and CTH，were studied．Last，an simple retrieval algorithm of CTH was aquired by the staffs。 tics and fitting to the three years data of cloud top height(CPR)and cloud top tempera’ ture(MODIS)． Key Words： Cloud TOP Height，Cloud Top Temperature，HDF5，Cloud’ sat，CPR
