The Low Cost and H igh Speed Sensor Networks Design and Application

Abstract: The application of sensor newt ork is increasingly extensive, but it is restricted by high cost and low
transm ission speed. This paper put forw ard a solution, w hich uses the Cortex- M 3 core processor andTCP /IP pro
tocol stack. The result of test show s that a node s maxmi um transm ission bandw idth can be up to 22. 3Mb it/s, em
bod ies the characteristic of h igh speed and low cost. It wouldmeet the requ irements of the application of large vol
ume of data transm ission, such as mi age sensor networks.
