Abstract: This paper introduces the model of traditional image data management and its existing problems, and the re- lease and sharing of ArcGIS image management and image data are studied, including ArcGIS image management in dif- ferent periods of the model and their respective characteristics, slicing and dynamic imaging services. According to the ex- perimental verification, mosaic dataset can manage massive image data very well and make the sharing more convenient.
